A Proven concept, A proven industry, ready to be developed!
The business aviation community is a well-established multi-billion-dollar industry that has always had one problem. The problem is simple to understand, and simple to fix. “Profitability!”
The business of business aviation has been around for decades, and apart from a few operators that have specific niches in the industry, business aviation has not been profitable. Effectively, making the revenue generating portion of business aviation a failed concept as it is operated today.
For the purposes of this software solution, I am specifically alluding to the charter and fractional systems. There are several variations of those concepts from piggyback chartering to shares to clubs to cards and to wannabe uber systems (that naturally failed) to whatever comes next week.
We know and we understand that the industry is not satisfied with where they are. We are also aware the market for charter services and fractional is strong and that the industry is constantly pursuing the right solution. Unfortunately, the people that run business aviation often have zero idea how aviation works. Therefore, nothing changes.
Fortunately, there is an extremely specific solution to fix the problem, and how to solve it. We completely understand the problems, issues, and failures of business aviation.
Our solution comes with the added benefit of being a disruptive solution. The disruptive solution is not a design feature to create problems for anyone, however for the solution to be successful, it will by default be disruptive, at least as it relates to the competition.
If you are interested in how I got so lucky to have the solution to this problem, I spent half a century working in the industry that has had this problem since 1962 that I know of. While in that environment I gained massive insight into exactly why the industry is and always has been so stagnated.
Many of the insiders, the movers and shakers of the industry are not airplane people. They simply do not understand all the aspects of operations that will change everything. I do!
Here is a non-aviation example of seeing the solution to an everyday problem that existed forever in the shipping business and would still be there if not for this observation. The problem in question was severely restricting international commerce, which the entire shipping industry did not see until this happened.
Malcom McLean back in the 30’s was a truck driver. Then one day sitting in his truck waiting for hours at a Jersey shore port as longshore men unloaded his truck item by item…McLean watched them as they would put each item from the trailer onto the ship one item at a time, then secure them, taking hours. While watching this, he thought it would be a lot easier if they just hoisted the entire loaded trailer onto the ship and of course he was right…that idea with some modifications today is the shipping container industry making it possible for international commerce that never would have happened without Malcom McLean.
Inject that kind of transformational modification into the right kind of system and software, and everything in business aviation changes.
Here is a short bio on me. I was a jet pilot (retired now) with over 21,000 PIC hours. I am typed rated in several jets and checked out in 52 other aircraft. So obviously, I fully know the products and the systems that need to be changed. Along the way, I created and co-founded Jet Support Services Inc., aka JSSI. JSSI today is the largest non-OEM jet engine service in the world. Always has been, I also created and co-founded Mid-west Air Charter at the request of, and specifically for the Federal Reserve Bank to alleviate their $850 billion dollar a week float issues long before computer systems. To fix their specific problem. In 1969 I created and co-founded a flight operation known as Mid-West Air Charter. I left Mid-West in 1976 to be the CP and DO for MB-NA. At that time Mid-West became known as Airborne, and today is known as DHL. Based on that information, you now know that I am an Innovator that fully knows and understands systems and processes.
To correct the business of business aviation’s major problem, funding is required to create the software solution. Hopefully, that is where you will bring in your expertise.
A massive secondary plus comes with our solution. As our operational system comes online, it will also create a multi-purpose colossal feedback loop of massive income that all operators and aircraft owners will benefit from. That feedback loop is the paradigm that will be controlling all aspects of business aviation in the future.
