Flight training is the heart and soul of the safety and performance levels of your pilot and flight crew.
What are the F.A.A. requirements for your flight crew and aircraft? How are those requirements best met? Which advanced training centers best meet your aircraft’s and flight crew’s needs and requirements?
EAP is alone in the industry in providing detailed Oversight guiding the advanced training required of your flight crew and pilots. We lead you. Our career pilots have flown tens of thousands of incident and accident-free flight hours. Our Oversight staff works with your pilots to ensure that they perform at high safety and performance levels and protect your aircraft.
Several national advanced training centers are staffed by non-career pilots. Our Oversight staff knows which advanced training centers will provide the training your pilots and flight staff critically require to safely operate your aircraft. EAPs influence as a fleet operator ensures that your flight crew will enroll and be accepted into the advanced training center appropriate for your aviation department.
Our Oversight staff is also available to interact with your pilot and flight crew on an ongoing basis, providing guidance as and when needed as well as presenting a forum for your flight crew to address issues as they arise. Safety issues must be identified and addressed immediately.
EAP’s value in providing oversight of advanced training is on occasion extreme. Terry Saylor, an EAP senior operational manager, has flown over 20,000 incident and accident free flight hours. An advanced flight school had been incorrectly instructing its pilots how to address a specific emergency landing situation. The training center required pilots to apply full flaps at the outer marker for a landing, rather than half flaps. Under those circumstances pilots needed to hold full flaps until they were over the outer boundaries and fences on the approach for landing. Mr. Saylor advised the training center of the serious curriculum error. A pilot trained at this center adhered to the centers procedure and experienced a fatal crash. The training center then modified its curriculum. EAP has never had a program member attend that training center.
EAP evaluates all training centers, works with your flight crew and pilots to ensure that they receive competent and high value training applicable to your aircraft and your department.
We shall consistently provide to you significantly safer, reliable and cost effective aircraft operations.
EAP guarantees it!
