The Rubik’s Cube

of Business Aviation!

The Rubik’s Cube of business Aviation is what controls your Budget, reliabilty, and Safety!

Full Spectrum Budget and Safety Controls

The “Rubik’s Cube” of business aviation (pictured above) is a visual reference to the incredibly complex maze of federally mandated rules and regulations regarding business aviation. The cube visually represents the thousands of F.A.A. requirements for hourly inspections, annual inspections, and the extraordinarily wide variety of calendar airframe maintenance costs, engine maintenance costs, cycle limited parts, TBO’s, MPI’s, pilot training, maintenance training, and recurrent training.

To be successful with the Business Aviation’s Rubik’s Cube you need to understand how the Cube works. The Cube is driven by the F.A.A. which is the second most regulation-driven government agency in the U.S. behind only the N.R.A. (Nuclear Regulatory Agency).

Congratulations! As an aircraft owner, you are now subject to thousands of those F.A.A. mandated rules and their associated costs. How are you going to comply?

We note that having regulations and being required to fully comply with them in and of themselves is not a bad thing. The challenge is when those regulations are weaponized by suppliers and service providers to manipulate pricing via obfuscation, manipulation, and double talk to you.

Owning an aircraft or even being a pilot does not help you in controlling cost or improving safety. In our experience, major flight departments with multiple multi-million-dollar aircraft staffed by a cadre of expensive supervisory personnel might have the expertise to properly handle the complexity of the Rubik’s Cube that is today’s business aviation industry. However, even major flight departments are not powerful enough to contain costs or improve safety.

If you have a small operation consisting of one aircraft (normally pre-owned) and a pilot (who is most likely looking to build time so he/she can move up to the airlines or a larger company to fly a newer aircraft), then you are absolutely on your own. Your pilot does not protect you.

Being alone, unguided and unsupported in the land of business aviation leads to expensive, frustrating and occasionally deadly experiences. When you fly alone in the land of business aviation you will be victimized by the system. You have no power to control anything–from costs, to accessing priority services, to verifying your safety level.

With Executive AirPower you are not alone. You have knowledge. You have the highest level of expertise. You have real power. You have AirPower. You are now part of a large fleet of aircraft receiving expert guidance. In the business aviation world, it is the fleet power that matters.

A fleet of aircraft, by definition, is a large number of aircraft under the umbrella of a single expert entity. You become expertly guided, safer, powerful and protected. Becoming a member our fleet provides you with spectacular financial power and major savings. Our fleet power creates the hammer and anvil effect. Suppliers and providers want large volume customers such as our fleet. In order to earn our fleet business, they must provide the pricing and the services (for the entire fleet) that we demand for you.

This end result is one in which you as a single aircraft owner can never achieve alone. Controlling the power of a fleet matters only if the management team knows exactly how to extract every benefit that fleet operations afford for every fleet member. At EAP we do that for you. We are that team. We have the knowledge, the experience, and the ability to deliver the highest quality service at the best prices available to you. We will use that fleet power for you and you will always benefit from that power!

In addition, unlike other management companies or piggyback systems, we do not abstractly claim that as part of our program you will get discounts. We tell you specifically what those discounts are. Before we accept you into our program you will know exactly what those savings are and what that means to your budget. No one else will provide this to you.

With Executive AirPower you get our platinum turnkey system which means you do not have to do anything other than save money, schedule, and fly in your aircraft. Executive AirPower addresses all FA.A., safety, repair and compliance issues.

You just enjoy flying and making money. We will do all the rest.

If you are in a piggyback charter program we will take you out of that high risk, negative return system. We will make your aircraft totally available for you when you need it. As a result, your aircraft flies fewer hours retaining its value, eliminates your liability, and dramatically reduces your operating budget.

We invite you to explore certain of the applicable F.A.A. regulations. https://www.faa.gov/regulations_policies/faa_regulations/

Air Frame Maintenance

The Rubik’s Cube of aviation is the total operating spectrum of your aircraft. At Executive AirPower “full spectrum budget and safety control” is our mission. That includes airframe maintenance, engine maintenance, APU maintenance, avionics, compliance, service bulletin compliance, AD compliance, training, recurrent training, dispatch reliability, and on-time reliability.

Getting your entire aircraft and crew in sync and operating like a fine timepiece is the goal. And like working a Rubik’s Cube, it is anything but easy to do. Getting a business aircraft in sync at or under budget requires a deep understanding of the aviation industry, relationships at every level, and a dedication to each and every aircraft owner to keep him or her safe.

That is exactly what we do. Once your aircraft is in sync with all maintenance requirements on schedule, on budget, and your crew is in sync with all the operating requirements, then and only then, will you and your aircraft be productive, safe, and on budget. That is what we do.

Aviation is the second most regulated industry behind the nuclear power industry. This is because the aviation industry is very complex. The majority of aircraft owners are not in the aviation business, therefore they do not understand the complexities of operating an aircraft. However, that does not change the complexities of aircraft operations.

Every aircraft is made up of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of parts and pieces, and they are all regulated by hours or date. Miss one maintenance event or calendar part replacement and your aircraft is no longer legal to fly, and it no longer has enforceable insurance on it.  With Executive AirPower, you never have to think or worry about any of this. It will be done on time, every time, and at or under budget.

Paint and Interior

This is a view that is seldom seen by non-aircraft professionals. This is a King Air that has been totally stripped down of paint and its interior completely removed and stripped down. Additionally, there is other heavy work being done on the aircraft.

Once the maintenance has been completed this aircraft will be going to the paint shop. While this is going on, the interior is completely replaced. Work like this can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Most owners never include this in their operating budgets and generally get blindsided. However, paint and interiors and heavy maintenance are a part of the hourly costs to operate your aircraft. If you are not putting away funds in an hourly costs you will find that your operating expenses will be much higher than you anticipated. Paint and interior are real and significant costs of operations and not preparing for them is a very common mistake owners make. This is often seen when aircraft owners go to trade or sell their aircraft. That is when these costs will come into the equation.

This is what heavy maintenance looks like!

Pictured above is an example of a typical calendar-related heavy maintenance inspection. Here we see the engines removed from the aircraft, as well as the leading edge slats and many other items such as various pieces of the airframe. Work is also being done on the landing gear and various electronic systems. These kinds of maintenance repairs cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, millions of dollars if you include engine overhauls. This  type of maintenance will also take your aircraft out of service for several weeks.

Engine Over Hauls

Engine overhauls are required by the F.A.A. and must be considered in your hourly operating costs. Each engine can cost millions of dollars for repairs or exchanges. It does not matter what you paid for the aircraft; even if you purchase an aircraft that costs just $500,000 dollars, the engines are still going to cost you as much as $2 million to overhaul or in some cases replace.

Pictured above are maintenance personnel examining every part of these engines. Each part required can add to the cost of the work so you better know what is required and what is not.

Because of our fleet status at Executive AirPower, we have several advantages over the single aircraft owner. First and foremost is discounted pricing. Second, is the ability to require our engine services providers to demonstrate to us that any and all parts and service going into your engines are needed and required. Third, is the ability to make sure the work is completed on time and that you will always have loaner engines available if needed. This allows you to keep flying your aircraft on your schedule.

Instrument Support

Most aircraft flying today are not new. Since you maybe an owner of a used aircraft, the above photo may represent instruments similar to those in your aircraft. Switching them out for new state of the art, glass cockpits could cost a half million dollars or more. Optionally, you could allow Executive AirPower to recondition your instruments to as-new condition, saving you significant money.

Training

Training is an expense that many aircraft owners fail to take into account. Training is required twice annually by both the FAA and insurance companies. Executive AirPower will provide you the best training in the industry at a fleet price.

The interior is your kingdom… enjoy it!

The typical lifespan of a jet interior is just a few years and usually cost around $500,000 to redo. A new Wifi system will run you in the neighborhood of $100,000. Other exotic items can cost even more. However, this is where you live, work, and entertain while you are in the aircraft.

That brings us back to why you need the power of being a member of a fleet. Executive AirPower can bring you discounts you cannot receive on your own, this  includes interior work on your plane.
