          • In 1988 Rick had a life and career altering experience which changed the U.S. business aviation market. A FAA repair service provider performing an engine overhaul on a GE CF – 700 demanded that he purchase 25 new blades (@ $2,500. each). The service provider not only refused to provide any proof as to the necessity for new blades in the repair but also refused to sign off unless the blades were purchased. Rick realized that independent owners and operators were at the mercy of FAA service providers. In creating and managing JSSI Rick saw first-hand the extraordinary effectiveness of the power of fleet aggregation. Service providers were not permitted to frivolously bill or overcharge. EAP drastically reduces the annual operating costs of private aircraft use by $200K – $500K while increasing safety and reliability.
